Siebert Muzzleloading Rifle

Siebert muleloading rifle. Stamped on the top barrel flat H.L. Siebert/230 Main St/ CIN.O. 46 1/2" overall, 30" barrel. Approximately .45 caliber. False breech. Double set triggers. Full walnut stock with iron hardware, except wedge plates which are german silver. Original bayonet stud. One original and one replaced sling swivel. Front and rear sights are later and the nipple is modern as a former owner was a modern-era shooter. Turned originally at the muzzle for a bullet starter. The trigger plate and the inside of the lockplate are stamped with two dies. T. Gibbons and Cov. KY.
