This sword is untouched and has been plated by Conning in period. (Who was a Silver Smith) or by the United Confederate veterans after the war. The scabbard has the standard lap seam and the mounts are brass. The pommel has the number 87 stamped in it. It has a wonderful grip and wire. An outstanding piece, Super rare.
